The last time we saw on Rune Factory 4 in the weekly top-20 software sales charts from Japan, it had sold 140,639 copies. While the game hasn’t been around in the top-20 for a few weeks now, Marvelous AQL tweeted today that sales have crossed the 150,000 mark.

In August, Rune Factory producer, Yoshifumi Hashimoto, confirmed that Rune Factory 4 is the best-selling game in the series thus far. Prior to Rune Factory 4, that title belonged to Rune Factory 2.

Additionally, Rune Factory 5 is expected at some point in time, too, Hashimoto recently shared. He’s also presently working on another game, which we assume is Dragon Marked for Death on the Nintendo 3DS, a title that we broke news of last year.

Speaking with Siliconera, Hashimoto said last year: “The online is going to be amazing, but we can’t announce anything else right now, though.”
