Square Enix shared more trivia about Final Fantasy VII Remake, and it’s shining the spotlight on Rude for today. It previously shared concept art and character details for Reno, who is Rude’s work partner in the game. Rude’s post mostly focuses on his design, though.
There are a lot of close-ups on the various details that make up Rude’s look in Final Fantasy VII Remake. He uses a tie tack pin on his necktie and, unlike Tseng and Reno, he wears a black shirt. The tweet does not give an explanation, so there might not be any deeper meaning behind this. Square Enix also stated that the development team put a lot of effort into designing both his sunglasses and his eyes. It wanted Rude to look like a different person once he took off his glasses.
