Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe Manga Serialization Announced

Square Enix announced a manga adaptation of the mobile title Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe. The new manga will appear in Manga UP!, Square Enix’s mobile manga reading service. The news was announced at a live-streamed event celebrating the third anniversary of Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe. SaGa series producer Masanori Ichikawa said the manga series will be “interesting in a different way than the video game.” While Square Enix did not share any further details, more information about the series will release via the G Fantasy official Twitter account at a later date.

Among other news, the anniversary live stream event also featured new information and events coming to Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe. This includes an anniversary Romancing Festival gacha banner featuring new SS Styles, a new chapter, and a version 2.0.0 update. Furthermore, Square Enix also revealed that traditional Chinese and Korean localizations of Romancing SaGa 2 will release in Asian regions on December 23, 2021.

Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe Manga

We previously talked with series producer Masanori Ichikawa about recent SaGa series remasters, as well as the Romancing SaGa Re;universe mobile game. Square Enix also collaborated with Saga prefecture back in 2020, and has continued its tourism partnership into 2021.

The Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe manga will begin publication on December 13, 2021. The manga will be available on Square Enix’s Manga UP! mobile manga reading service.
