Koei Tecmo announced that Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit is headed to PS Vita in Japan on May 25, and it’ll have a cross-save support with PS4 and PS3.
The PS Vita version of the strategy game has unique controls that allow you to use its touchscreen to scroll and drag the screen around as you control your army. You can do things like order the movement of units by the press of your fingertip.
Another new function allows you to use the PS Vita camera to take a pictures in order to create original generals to further expand your roster.
Last but not least, the PS Vita version of the game supports cross-save with the PS4 and PS3 versions of the game. That means you can stay home and play the game on PS4 and continue after heading out with the PS Vita version. And yes, DLC purchased on the PS4 and PS3 versions carry over to the PS Vita version of the game.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII with Power-Up Kit is available in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC. The game is also headed to Nintendo Switch on March 30 and it’ll have most of the same features as the PS Vita version, which releases on May 25.
