Mages/5pb will be releasing a demo for their next major visual novel, Robotics;Notes, in early June, according to a report at Famitsu.com. 5pb announced at a live event that the Japanese demo will be released on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

Robotics;Notes is about a high school robot club that’s in danger of being disbanded, the members of which are out to develop a real life mech.

The full version of Robotics;Notes will be released on June 28th. An anime adaptation of the series will follow in October. Mages president, Chiyomaru Shikura, says that Robotics;Notes’ story was developed with an anime-like flow in mind right from the start, and that the game could fill up about 40 episode of an anime series. Just how long the actual anime will be is unknown for now.
