We previously reported this as a rumor, but today it’s official. Europe is getting Dungeon Maker: Mahou no Shovel to Chiisana Yuusha on September 19. In PAL territories Rising Star Games, who also published Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground, will simply call it Dungeon Maker. The game is a dungeon crawler with the twist of letting players create the maze and place monster feed which act as spawn points. Placing monster chow is a new feature not found in the first game in the series.

Unlike the other games in Global A’s Dungeon Maker series, Dungeon Maker DS is notably more cheerful than the PSP games. Speaking of those it doesn’t look like anyone is working on localizing Chronicle of Dungeon Maker 2 (i.e. Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground 2), which came out around the same time as Dungeon Maker DS. At this point it doesn’t appear the game will be published in North America, but if it’s in English some publisher will release it. Xseed seems like the likely candidate since they have a relationship with Global A, Rising Star, and Rising Star’s parent company Marvelous.
