Sega announced their Kinect game, Rise of Nightmares, at Tokyo Game Show in 2010, and ever since then, it’s dropped off the radar. Then, the ESRB recently picked up on the game and assigned it an “M” rating, owing to gore and suggestive dialogue. And at long last, today, Sega have released screenshots:

Rise of Nightmares puts you in the role of an American tourist trying to rescue his wife from a deranged scientist. You play the game from a first-person perspective, and uses hatchets, chainsaws and brass knuckles to kill zombie-like enemies.

Sega haven’t announced a release date for the game, but the BBFC say it’s headed to Europe on June 15th.
