The Revolutionary Girl Utena anime series will inspire three new jewelry items based on iconic elements and motifs from the show. The items are available for pre-order from the Chara-Ani online store until April 30, 2024, and they are set to release in Japan sometime in October 2024. [Thanks, Dengeki Hobby!]
The first item in the new line Utena jewelry is a pair of earrings based on the Shadow Play Girls, and they are styled after the silhouette of each shadow girl hanging from a rose. The name of the earrings is a quote referencing the characters’ catchphrase. The second one is a ring based on Utena’s Sword of Dios, with the blade curled on itself. Meanwhile, the last item is a brooch based on the inverted castle that appears in episode 9 of the anime.
Here are the translated names of each item, alongside their prices:
- The Castle Said to Hold Eternity Brooch – 6,980 yen (~$45.26)
- “I wonder, I wonder, do you know what I wonder?” Earrings – 6,500 yen (~$42.15)
- Sword of Dios Ring – 6,500 yen (~$42.15)
