Konami showed a new glimpse at characters James and Maria in the Return to Silent Hill live-action movie adaptation during the second Silent Hill Transmission. Director Christophe Gans also revealed that Akira Yamaoka will return to compose the music for the upcoming film.
New new behind-the-scenes footage of the filming of the Return to Silent Hill movie was revealed, offering a look at actors Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson were seen in-character as James Sunderland and Maria, respectively.
Additionally, another glimpse at the iconic Pyramid Head was offered in the new footage. Director Gans also revealed that he has kept the concept of the previous Silent Hill movies of the actors that play the monsters and creatures in the movie being also dancers and acrobats.

A brief glimpse at Pyramid Head in the upcoming Return to Silent Hill movie of was shown during a preview at the Cannes Film Festival back in May 16, 2024.
Return to Silent Hill started filming in April 2023 and it does not have a release date yet. The Silent Hill 2 remake is in development for PC and PS5 and will come out on October 8, 2024.
