VBlank Entertainment has offered an update on the status of Shakedown: Hawaii, the successor to Retro City Rampage, and it involves a change of venue. The PC version is now being signified with an Epic Games Store logo, as it will appear first on that platform. In addition, it noted that the PlayStation Vita version has been “submitted to manufacturing.”
The Steam product page for Shakedown: Hawaii is still online. It only shows a TBD release window. The game itself has a Q1 2019 release window.
VBlank Entertainment’s update also came alongside a new trailer and information about the game. The final beta build is out, showing off repainted cutscenes, updated spritework, and some new secrets. While the PlayStation Vita version is out for manufacturing, a day one patch will add new content to it after it launches.
The new trailer shows off the new visuals and an improved Shakedown: Hawaii map.
Shakedown: Hawaii will head to the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC in Q1 2019. A release date will be provided after console certification is complete.
