In Resident Evil Village, players follow Ethan in a village where Mother Miranda is in charge. In past updates, Capcom focused on one of her underlings, Lady Dimitrescu. Now, it revealed the other three Resident Evil Village Lords, who are Donna Beneviento (and Angie), Karl Heisenberg, and Salvatore Moreau. Each one rules over their “area” of the village. [Thanks, IGN!]
Donna is a woman dressed in black from head to toe. She carries Angie, a puppet in a wedding dress, around. Which means people might be interacting with both. They are in charge of House Beneviento. According to Director Morimasa Sato’s comments to IGN, it will pull inspiration from Resident Evil 7.
Karl is a Lord who’s shown up in multiple Resident Evil Village videos before. For example, he showed up in the fourth trailer. People will find him in the factory. That location was also described as more modern.
Salvatore’s domain is the village’s reservoir. As fitting someone associated with the lake area, he’s supposed to look like a merman. Art Director Tomonori Takano also told IGN the goal behind the character was to create “the most repulsive character on Earth.”
In addition to the reveal of the other three Resident Evil Village Lords, there is a new demo trailer. It looks at the Castle demo that will be available starting at 5pm PT/8pm ET on April 24, 2021 in North America and at 7pm CEST on April 25, 2021 in Europe.
Resident Evil Village will launch on May 7, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia.
