There’s good news regarding Resident Evil Village PS4 and Xbox One copies. During the Resident Evil Showcase, Producer Peter Fabiano appeared to confirm that it will appear on both of those systems, the PS5, the Xbox Series X, and the PC on May 7, 2021.
There will also be free upgrade options. Should someone get a Resident Evil Village PS4 version, they’ll get a PS5 digital copy. If someone gets an Xbox One version, Xbox Smart Delivery will ensure you have the Xbox Series X version if you play it on that system.
Some of the special editions were also shown alongside the release date reveal. There will be a Resident Evil Village standard version, of course. The Deluxe Edition comes with a Trauma Pack that gives people things like an Albert01 Chris gun, a Found Footage filter, Max Difficulty, Mr. Everywhere, Safe Room Music, Save Device, and something called The Tragedy of Ethan Winters. The Resident Evil Village Collector’s Edition will come with a Chris Redfield figure, a poster, an art book, a Steelbook case, and the Trauma Pack.
Resident Evil Village PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC copies will appear on May 7, 2021.
