Capcom announced a survey for Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and the Winters’ Expansion. The goal is to get people’s thoughts on the game and add-on that starred Rose and added a third-person mode to the main game. Everyone who takes it gets a Resident Evil Village-themed wallpaper. People can take it at the official site.
While this survey is for people who bought the Gold Edition or DLC, there are options for people who select options that only mention the original game or none of the above. However, if you do note that you bought the latest addition or add-on, it asks what people did, what platform they played it on, and other details. So it asks if someone used first-person or third-person mode in the main game, went through Shadows of Rose, or used the extra Mercenaries content. It also asks if people were aware of the demo. It then adds additional questions about the new features based on people’s responses and asks for feedback. Some questions also ask if people were okay with the DLC being digital-only or how they felt about Re:Verse being free with it.
There are also general gaming questions. For example, Capcom asks which genres the survey taker plays most. It also asks for thoughts on DLC and what kinds people like to see. Another question specifically asks about desired Resident Evil series DLC.
In the end, the reward for completing the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition survey is a Lady Dimitrescu wallpaper. Both landscape and portrait versions are available. These show her first and foremost alongside the game logo, though her daughters appear too. There are multiple resolution options available. However, here are two examples of how they look.
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the survey for it will be open until March 31, 2023.
