New looks are coming to Resident Evil Resistance. Some of them are free. Others are paid. But all-in-all, August 5, 2020 is going to be a big day for people looking to dress up. Especially since that’s when the Resident Evil Resistance Resident Evil 2 paid costumes will be released too.

Capcom brought up the Resident Evil Resistance August 2020 update’s release date on Twitter and paired it with a new trailer to show people what to expect. For example, there will be two new takes on old maps starting August 5th. Downtown will become Uptown. You’ll also see the Abandoned Park become the Bemusement Park. As the video shows, they don’t seem to be major changes, but it will give you a new look.

Speaking of new looks, some of the new unlockable and paid items were teased. Survivors will be able to don new costumes, and some cosmetics were teased at the 13 second mark. The initial batch are the ones people can unlock. At the 18 second mark, the Resident Evil Resistance Resident Evil 2 Claire and Leon costumes are shown in action.

The last major update for Resident Evil Resistance added Nicholai Ginovaef, a Mastermind who can summon Nemesis, to the game.

Resident Evil Resistance is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC and comes with copies of Resident Evil 3.
