Resident Evil 7’s Banned Footage Vol. 1 Clancy segments are set before the events of the game. In Bedroom, Marguerite Baker has locked Clancy in a bedroom and players must help him figure out how to leave the room without her finding out. Nightmare is a survival scenario where hordes of enemies are approaching, leaving Clancy to create weapons and try to hold them off until morning.

The new mode, Ethan Must Die, is based on an entirely new event and requires people to help him survive. It’s designed to be a slightly tougher experience. This mode isn’t compatible with the PlayStation VR headset.
