Resident Evil 7 Is Now Second on the Capcom Platinum Titles List

Resident Evil 7 usurped both Resident Evil 5 and 6’s spots on the Capcom Platinum Titles list. The official page has been updated with data taken as of June 30, 2020, and it has shot up to second place. This is due to its sales hitting the 7.9 million mark worldwide.

However, Monster Hunter World still has nothing to fear. The game is in first with 16.1 million units sold. That figure has gone up a little since its May 2020 tally. Back then, it was at 15.7 million units sold so far.

The only other major movement in positions came from Resident Evil 3. The remake, which was released in April 2020, ended up taking 25th place on the list with 2.7 million copies sold.

To refresh and keep everyone up with the current situation, here are the top 25 games in the Capcom Platinum Titles list so far. All the sales figures are, as mentioned earlier, taking into account numbers as of June 30, 2020.
