As someone might expect, the new version of Resident Evil 4 will offer a first-person approach to the game. It will also include new controls and adaptations to adjust to the Oculus Quest 2’s offerings.

While initial details were slim, a fuller reveal date did come up. On April 21, 2021, it will be a part of the Oculus Gaming Showcase. That’s when people will be able to watch the presentation to see the game again and watch more details about how it works.

Resident Evil 4 originally appeared on the GameCube and PlayStation 2 in 2005. Eventually, it also ended up heading to additional systems like the Switch, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, PC and both Android and Apple iOS devices.

A VR version of Resident Evil 4 is in development for the Oculus Quest 2 headset. Its full reveal will come on April 21, 2021.
