Capcom showed off more of the Resident Evil 4 remake at Sony’s State of Play presentation, along with the announcement that a demo is on the way. The new trailer showed off a lot more of the remake’s gameplay, featuring the massive El Gigante and the Las Plagas causing the game’s infection. We also got to see a lot of Ashley and Luis as Leon’s allies in the fight against the Ganados. In addition, it confirmed The Mercenaries Mode will be released as a free Resident Evil 4 add-on. That will appear after launch.

The new Resident Evil 4 remake trailer showed a lot of combat, including some glimpses at sequences that should seem familiar to players of the original. These showed the Krauser boss fight and Audience Hall. There was also a glimpse of a mine cart sequence.
The trailer also showed a brief look at the free Resident Evil 4 Mercenaries Mode, but little was shown behind its title. There will also be a special demo coming soon, listed as coming soon. With the release date imminent, we could see this sample in a matter of weeks. This is likely to be similar to other trials put out for previous Resident Evil titles such as Village.
