Resident Evil 3 Shows Off Nemesis and a Playable Carlos

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

An intensive look at Resident Evil 3 has arrived. Capcom has shared a new trailer, which focuses specifically on Nemesis, alongside other media like character renders. Especially interesting is an array of screenshots looking at what the newly added Carlos Oliviera sections will look like, as they give people a peek at what it will be like to play as the character. (There are plenty of pictures of Jill Valentine and her gameplay segments too!)

A big part portion of the Resident Evil 3 info drop focuses on everything Nemesis is and could be capable of. We see him chasing after Jill in his trailer and screenshots, in some cases pinning her against the walls with his weapons or using his tentacles to attack. We get to see both Nemesisā€™ flamethrower and rocket launcher in these early images.

Carlos also gets quite a bit of screen time here. He will be playable in Resident Evil 3, and we see him head-to-head against a Hunter in one of his screenshots. The Hunter is a biological weapon that uses its claws to attack opponents and speed to try and evade attacks.

In addition to the new Resident Evil 3 screenshots, an array of character art was shared. It shows off U.B.C.S. members Carlos, Mikhail Victor, Murphy Seeker, Nicholai Ginovaef, and Tyrell Patrick. We also get a better look at Brad Vickers, a former S.T.A.R.S. member, and Dario Rosso, a civilian caught in Raccoon City.

Resident Evil 3 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020, and it will include Resident Evil: Resistance. Standard and limited editions will be available.
