Brace yourself or a Resident Evil 3 demo, because apparently Nemesis wants to catch up with people and isn’t willing to wait until the game’s actual release date. Capcom announced on Twitter that a trial for the game is in the works. However, it hasn’t been dated beyond a hint another announcement “in the near future.”
The idea of a Resident Evil 3 demo isn’t all that unexpected. After all, there was a Resident Evil 2 demo. It was called the 1-Shot Demo and forced people to try and complete the trial with Leon S. Kennedy within 30 minutes. While it was a limited-time item, it eventually appeared again at the end of December 2019. In fact, the updated demo even had an Easter egg referencing Resident Evil 3 if you lurked around outside of the police station.
In addition to the Resident Evil 3 demo confirmation, some new looks at the game have appeared. (This comes after some leaked screenshots appeared.) Different sites have come out with video footage from the game.
Here’s IGN’s look at Nemesis.
And here’s GameSpot comparing the original game to the remake.
Resident Evil 3, which includes Resident Evil: Resistance, will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2020.
