Resident Evil 2 Remake Surpasses 5 Million Units in Worldwide Sales

Following the Resident Evil 3 remake reveal, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 2‘s remake surpassed 5 million in worldwide sales.

The new 5 million units milestone in worldwide sales for the Resident Evil 2 remake is as of December 4, 2019. The game released in January 2019 so it took less than a year to achieve the milestone. The original Resident Evil 2, it sold 4.96 million units to date.
