Resident Evil 2 Bonus Modes Let You Play As HUNK And Tofu Again

Capcom has revealed two of the Resident Evil 2 bonus modes people will be able to earn in the game on Twitter. As you play, you might get a chance to unlock The 4th Survivor or The Tofu Survivor. These allow you to play as HUNK and a block of tofu. It is unknown if the unlock conditions will be the same in the original Resident Evil 2.

Both of these minigames could be unlocked in the first version of Resident Evil 2. In the original, The 4th Survivor was unlocked after beating both Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield’s scenarios with an A rank. In it, players would help Umbrella Security Service special Agent HUNK reach the Raccoon City Police Department’s helipad with a G-Virus sample.

The Tofu Survivor, starring Tofu, also involved getting to the helipad to escape Raccoon City. However, to unlock it, you needed to complete six scenarios consecutively with A-ranks. Tofu’s run is much more difficult to play through, due to his weapon limitations.

Resident Evil 2 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019. A demo is available now and will be available through January 31, 2019.
