Capcom has finally confirmed and dated a trial for Resident Evil 2. Between January 11-31, 2019, people will be able to download the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo. This will allow people to test the game for a set number of time, with a new trailer as a reward for participating.

The Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo focuses a bit on Leon S. Kennedy’s scenario. Once people begin this trial, they will have 30 minutes to complete a specific mission. It is his first day when the zombies attack, and you will need to apparently help him get out of the station within 30 minutes. If you fail and still have time left, you can retry. If you succeed and have time left, you can also keep playing around with the demo’s scenario.

When people’s time with the demo is up, they get to see a new cinematic trailer. Capcom has not noted if the Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo’s cinematic trailer will be exclusive to the demo or released later. The company did confirm that people will be able to watch the trailer as many times as they would like, as it is not bound by the 30 minute rule that the demo is.

Here’s a brief trailer offering a look at the Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo.\

Resident Evil 2 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019.
