Report: Hideo Kojima Has Left Konami, Starting A New Company With Former Staff

Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima has left Konami Digital Entertainment on December 15th, and is expected to develop a new game together with a new company founded with former Konami employees, reports Nikkei.

 

According to the full report, Hideo Kojima is currently in the last step of negotiations with Sony computer Entertainment for their new title to get a priority release for PlayStation platforms. We’ll have more details on the development as they become available.
