When Kazuya has to work part-time jobs for a whole week in an island’s guest house and beach club to fund Chizuru Mizuhara’s movie, he will be accompanied by not only Chizuru but also Ruka, Sumi, and Mini. The player will direct Kazuya to support one of the four heroines to improve both their work performance and job income.

Reaching a specific affection level with a heroine will unlock date scenes—both imaginary and real—with that specific character. If Kazuya successfully reaches the target income at the end of the week, he can unlock an ending scene with the heroine with the highest affection level.

Reaching the ending with each of the four initial heroines will unlock a harem route that involves all four of them. Finishing the latter route will subsequently unlock an extra route starring Mami Nanami.

Mages has also uploaded a new promotional trailer for the upcoming Rent-A-Girlfriend visual novel, which shows the story synopsis and gameplay snippets with narration by the Shun Horie-voiced protagonist Kazuya Kinoshita:

Rent-A-Girlfriend: The Horizon and the Girlfriend in the Swimsuit will be available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on November 28, 2024.
