Regularly Scheduled Nintendo Maintenance May Inhibit Super Mario Maker Activities

Nintendo has announced maintenance schedules for its servers today that might impact regular Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U gameplay. Most notable are downtime periods for Super Mario Maker and Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. During the times mentioned below, people might not be able to access online levels or homes for either game.

During the maintenance window, the following services may be unavailable.

• Nintendo 3DS

  • – Online Play, Rankings, etc. for Animal Crossing – Happy Home Designer

Nine additional Nintendo 3DS games will be affected by Nintendo’s maintenance. If people are looking to play Code of Princess, Kid Icarus: Uprising, New Super Mario Bros. 2, or the following titles during the times specified below and find themselves unable to access online features, that will be normal and no cause for alarm.
