Reggie Fils-Aime, the former Nintendo of America president, has revealed one of his plans for the future. He revealed that he will be the first Leader in Residence at Cornell University’s Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management on Twitter. This means he will be acting as a mentor and teacher, as well as hold lectures that people in the immediate community can sit in on for free.

The first such event is Leaders in Residence with Reggie Fils-Aime ‘83. (The ‘83 refers to the fact that he graduated from Cornell in 1983.) The official page for the lecture notes that it will go over “Reggie’s Principles for Next Generation Leaders.” It will be held at 7-9pm ET on October 21, 2019 at the Kennedy Hall Call Auditorium in Ithaca, New York.

This will be Fils-Aime’s second talk at Cornell this year. Back in March 2019, he presented the keynote at the 2019 Cornell Business Forum alumni event. In addition, all Dyson Leadership Program Leaders in Residence come to the campus once each semester to interact and aid students and the community.

Fils-Aime was with Nintendo of America from December 2003 until he retired on April 15, 2019.
