Reggie Fils-Aimé Is Involved With Rogue Games Now Too

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Reggie Fils-Aimé has been quite active since retiring from his position as Nintendo of America President and COO. In 2020 alone, he first joined GameStop’s board of directors, then became part of Spin Master’s board of directors. Now, he’s taking another game-adjacent role as a Rogue Games strategic advisor.

This marks Fils-Aimé’s third board of directors related role. He’ll be providing insight to members of the company’s board as it looks to expand onto consoles and PCs following the release of a handful of mobile games.

Speaking of which, people might not be too familiar with the company’s name due to that Android and Apple iOS focus. They all tend to be very casual sorts of titles available for free or, in the case of the $3.99 Outsider: After Life, available for under $5. Its Google Play page shows titles like Kitty Cocktails, Super Addicting Switch Ball – Flappy Bola Loca, Solitaire Card Game, and Oz: Broken Kingdom. It also is responsible for Apple Arcade exclusives like Hexaflip: The Action Puzzler and Super Impossible Road.

Speaking of Fils-Aimé’s endeavors, he recently issued the following hashtag-laden comment on Twitter about Bakugan: Champions of Vestroia, which is based on the Spin Master toys, following the WayForward game’s divisive debut during the July 2020 Nintendo Treehouse Live.
