Shore PhoneCo, an independent record label based in New York, is aiming to release a soundtrack to Mother on vinyl, the company announced this past weekend.

The soundtrack contains fully orchestrated music composed by Hirokazu “Hip” Tanaka, Keiichi Suzuki, David Bedford, and Michael Nyman. A number of the tracks also contain English vocals from various European musicians, including Louis Philippe, Jeb Million, The St. Paul’s Cathedral Choir and a young unknown named Catherine Warwick.

Up until now, this album only existed in Japan, but this Tuesday Shore PhoneCo will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to have the OST released on vinyl in the West. Shore PhoneCo are generally committed to bringing consumers releases of rare and hard to find music, so this fits right in with their MO.
