Raystorm HD Heading To Xbox 360 And PS3

Taito is working on a HD remake of Raystorm. Screens of Raystorm HD started circulating earlier this month. Now, the ESRB is leaking information about the title confirming a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 release.

Here’s what the ESRB has to say about it.

Players control a futuristic aircraft that destroys enemies and targets in this vertical-scrolling shooter game. Presented from a third-person perspective, the game allows players to fire lasers and missiles at asteroids, ships, planes, tanks, and buildings on the ground. Players face a steady swarm of enemies and bosses that react to damage by exploding in fiery bursts and plumes of gray smoke.

On paper it sounds generic, but it fits Raystorm. Since Raystorm HD was said to be in development for Xbox Live Arcade the PlayStation 3 version should show up on the PlayStation Store.
