The game is a new strategy RPG by Gravity, based on the popular MMORPG. In the game, players will put together teams consisting of familiar monsters from the Ragnarok series.
Its battles will have you take strategic actions using your team to take out opponents on the battlefield. Players will also get to challenge each other in PvP battles. Gravity is preparing various content for players to enjoy when it launches at the end of the month in South Korea.
It is also worth noting that this version of Ragnarok Tactics is a different title from the Ragnarok Tactics which first released in Japan in October 2011 as Ragnarok: Hikari to Yami no Kojo and localized in North America as Ragnarok Tactics by Aksys Games. You can learn more about it from Siliconera‘s interview with the publisher. While the PSP game played similarly to Final Fantasy Tactics, the mobile game is more simplified and focuses on the monster-collecting aspect.
Ragnarok Tactics will release for iOS and Android in South Korea on March 31, 2020. The game launched in Thailand in November 2019, which you can check out here.
