The studio has been collaborating with some of Japan’s most well-known games industry veterans, and recently even opened its own animation studio to produce original anime series.

Now, Cygames have opened a new division in Osaka that is developing console games. The studio has been active as of April 1st and is currently recruiting new employees. At present, Cygames say this new division is focusing on high-end PlayStation 4 games, although the company has not shared further details.

We’ll have more details as the situation develops and Cygames begin to shed more light on what their new Osaka department is up to.
