R-Type II And Other Irem Games Bundled For Masterpiece Collection 2

Irem is banking on nostalgia for their Nintendo 3DS releases. Pachipara 3D: Ocean Story 2 was part slot machine simulator and part Virtual Console with games like Hammerin’ Harry: Ghost Breeder and Ninja Spirit in Irem Masterpiece Collection volume one.

The recently announced Pachipara 3D: Ocean Story 2 with Agnes Lum has four more Irem Game Boy titles on the cart. R-Type II has been confirmed. While the other three games haven’t been announced, Irem doesn’t have that many other Game Boy titles. I’m guessing the Hammerin Harry game that takes place in outerspace will make the list and maybe we’ll see NuBo, a cutesy platformer with a blob-like character who has a pogo stick.
