Quote Travels To The Labyrinth, One Of Cave Story 3D’s Giant Mazes

Cave Story 3D uses the Nintendo 3DS’ special effects to give formerly flat areas depth. When you’re looking into the world, Cave Story 3D’s levels feel more cave-like. The area shown in these screenshots, the Labyrinth, isn’t exactly a cave though. Misery sends Quote and Curly Brace to the Labyrinth, which is supposed to be a garbage dump.

For fans of the PC version, players can choose sprite style art for Quote and the other main characters by picking classic mode. You can switch between the two graphic modes too by reloading your game at the main menu.

 

I just started playing Cave Story 3D and we’ll have more to talk about before the game comes out on November 8.
