GungHo Online Entertainment and Supercell are collaborating for a crossover between their respective mobile phone games.

As part of the collaboration, GungHo’s Puzzle & Dragons will will incorporate special Clash of Clans content, including a themed dungeon and exclusive monsters, on both iOS and Android platforms.

Meanwhile, Clash of Clans, Supercell’s combat strategy game, and Hay Day, their farm simulation game, will both feature “extensive cross-promotions” for Puzzle & Dragons. In Clash of Clans, you raise and defend a village, creating troops, gathering resources, and teaming up with other players to form clans.

The collaboration between the two companies will begin on June 24th and will last two weeks.

It is an honor to announce the collaboration of Puzzle & Dragons and the Supercell games, Hay Day and Clash of Clans,” said Kazuki Morishita, President/CEO and Executive Producer of GungHo Online Entertainment. “Supercell and GungHo share the same approach to game development so it seemed only natural to collaborate together. We will continuously support each other and our shared vision of delivering fun and exciting gameplay to everyone.”

“We are very honored to work with GungHo and learn from the masters of free-to-play gaming,” said Ilkka Paananen, CEO, Supercell. “The more time we spend with GungHo, the more we realize how remarkably similar our two companies are.  We are deeply committed to helping each other expand into new markets and equally committed to having an incredible amount of fun working together.”
