The Skill Battle is the focus of the new trailer. This is a match where you have three characters on your side and face off against an opponent with their own team of three. You use their skills as you play Puyo Puyo and Tetris against the enemy, sometimes using Item Cards to further bolster your standings. The Launch Edition of the game will even have Sonic the Hedgehog-based cards you use. One of the four Leagues in-game, Skill Battle League, will even let people face off online. (It joins Puzzle League, Puyo Puyo League and Tetris League.
