Puyo Puyo eSports May Be Coming Over To North America

Puyo Puyo eSports was revealed earlier this month as a new version of the classic game with eSports in mind, and it seems that the game might be coming over to North America as well.

Professional Puyo Puyo player Tom revealed at TGS 2018 after playing the demo build for Puyo Puyo eSports that the game has some very interesting options in the player profile settings. When choosing your location, apart from every prefecture in Japan, every state in the US is also available as a choice.

This reveal suggests that the game may see an English release in the US. The previous game to come over to English speaking regions was Puyo Puyo Tetris, which released back in April 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Puyo Puyo eSports releases in Japan on October 25, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It’ll be available exclusively as a digital title for 1,990 yen.
