Players will suddenly find themselves as the master of Yura and Tama, ninja cats who are determined to be loyal and serve their new master even if he can’t find many uses for ninja in the modern world with visual novel Neko-Nin ExHeart.
In Neko-Nin ExHeart, demi-humans – superhuman creatures that have beast and human-like aspects – have served as ninja for many years, serving whoever was in power. After all these years, though, their usefulness has faded, and it is at this time that the game’s protagonist meets a pair of them, forcing players to help him decide what to do with his powerful new entourage.
Players will interact with the pair of ninja, figuring out what to do with their newfound company, but as they do so, forces will begin to conspire against them. It will be up to the player to figure out their relationship with Yura and Tama as they also try to crack the mystery on who has started to spy on them, and why.
A demo is available for Neko-Nin ExHeart on its Steam page. The full game is set to release sometime this month.
