Pulse: FFXIV Remix Album 2 Has Dawntrail Soundtrack Songs

Back on December 3, 2024, Square Enix teased a new Final Fantasy XIV album release in the Pulse series for December 10, 2024, and now Pulse: FFXIV Remix Album Vol 2 (Session 1) is available with five songs from the Endwalker and Dawntrail soundtracks. It is available on places like Amazon, iTunes, and other services. The official site is open, there’s a first trailer, and those tracks can be listened to online.

First, here’s the Pulse: FFXIV Remix Album Vol 2 (Session 1) track list, with notations mentioning which Final Fantasy XIV soundtrack each song came from. Note that on the site itself, you can compare the original track to the new remix.

  1. “Windswept Echoes” (Dawntrail
  2. “The Nautilus Knoweth” (Endwalker)
  3. “Morrow’s Might” (Dawntrail)
  4. “Close in the Distance” (Endwalker)
  5. “Dedicated to Moonlight” (Endwalker)

We also know the five songs that will be a part of the (Session 2) release and are taken from the soundtrack albums from past expansions. Here’s what will be available on January 9, 2025.

  1. “Bee My Honey” (Dawntrail)
  2. “Good King Moggle Mog XII” (A Realm Reborn)
  3. “Pa-Paya” (Stormblood)
  4. “Civilizations” (Shadowbringers)
  5. “Insatiable” (Shadowbringers)

Here’s the trailer for the songs. It features a brief sample of each track, with a Loporrit DJ often appearing to “play” the remix. Said Loporrit also appears on the cover of both the (Session 1) and (Session 2) albums.

This follows the last remix album. That debuted back in 2020.

The  Pulse: FFXIV Remix Album Vol 2 (Session 1) is available digitally now, the (Session 2) soundtrack will appear on January 9, 2025, and presumably we’ll see a physical release after that. Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
