Sega has been adding a vast amount of crossover content to PSO2: New Genesis on an almost monthly basis. It started 2024 by adding content from The Seven Deadly Sins in January and Nijisanji in February.

While there was a break in March 2024, the company continued the wave with Rurouni Kenshin in April and the Atelier game series in May. Sega still has one unrevealed crossover from an anime show based on a light novel, which is slated to come in July 2024.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available on PC and PlayStation 4. People in Japan can also play the online game on Nintendo Switch via a cloud version, while an Xbox One release is available elsewhere worldwide. The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 crossover content will appear in PSO2: New Genesis in June 2024. Sega will reveal more details on May 28, 2024.
