Phantasy Star Online 2 is getting in the spirit of the season. That is, lots of holiday stuff will appear in the game after the December 9, 2020 maintenance ends. Once it does, you’ll begin seeing PSO2 Christmas characters, decorations, and events. There are eight things to look forward to, according to Sega’s official update.

A few of the events will give you chances to get themed rewards. Naverius’ Tundra will have a Christmas on Ice Event that lets up to 12 people spend 10 minutes fighting enemies to get Quest Points and weapons like the Crush Launcher Ticia, Crush Spear Epitimia Partisan, Silent Tree Sword, Shaval Ueber Sword, and Shavalmelm Wand. And if you help Xia with the Merry Xia Naverius Tundra quest, you can get an Omega Cockatrice Head accessory, Snowman Cannon Launcher weapon camo, and a Rising Weapons Badge 5. Both Santa Rappy and Santa Umbra will be around. Santa Rappy has eight Rappy Suits, including a Santa Rappy one, and a Gift Sack Talis to give away. Santa Umbra might have a Santa Soiree Jet Boots weapon camo, Santa Umbra Cane Rod weapon camo, or Umbra Cane rod for you. Finally, Bingo for the Holidays is back with Caribou and Santa Rappy Mag Evolution Devices, Cariboom Assault Rifle weapon camo, Harmonizer Reindeer weapon camo, Double Saber, Rod, and Wand Carol Whithia weapon camo, and a Rappy Sack Talis weapon camo.

Some of these PSO2 Christmas changes are just cosmetic. Franca’s Cafe turned into a Snowky Ski Chalet for the season. You’ll also see festive lights, trees, and stockings in the Shopping Plaza. Also, when you go listen to Quna’s Shopping Plaza concerts, you’ll see she’s decked out in a Santa style and singing “Eternal Encore.”
