More people will be able to see screenshots and videos captures from their PS5 on their mobile devices. Sony announced that the Americas will soon get a PlayStation App update that makes these items accessible. They’ll show up in a gallery in-app, provided certain conditions are met.
There are two types of media from a PS5 that will show up in the PlayStation App. If someone linked their console and application and have the system in rest mode while connected to the internet, items will automatically upload. They will then be able to enable captures in the app under Library and Captures and on the system under the Captures and Broadcasts section in Settings. PS5 screenshots and videos that are not in 4K or over three minutes will show up in the app. They will be available to view there for 14 days. After that point, they will be removed from the app’s gallery.
Here’s a video showing off the process.
We’re gradually rolling out the ability to share your PS5 game captures through PS App in more regions! Americas are first up, with more countries next month. Details: https://t.co/yskER3hn8t pic.twitter.com/8sfrm6PZZj

This marks more major regions for the PlayStation App PS5 screenshot and video capture feature. Originally, only people in Canada and Japan could use it.
The PlayStation App is available on Android and Apple iOS devices.
