PS5 PlayStation Store Wishlist Now Notifies People About Sales

There is a way to keep up with digital discounts on games people want on the PlayStation 5. Sony announced the PlayStation Store wishlist feature now allows for PS5 and PlayStation App notifications. Should people add a game they are interested in to the list, there’s now an option to get notices. People can also opt out of alerts, if they’d prefer.

Here’s how it will work. If someone has PlayStation Store wishlist push notifications on for the PS5 or mobile app, it will let them know when a game goes on sale. As long as the game is on your list, you’ll get a pop-up. The image showcasing the feature didn’t list any prices in the notification. It only showed the notice as saying, “Wishlist: Several items are now on sale.”

Note that the notifications only apply in two situations. You will only get a pop up on your mobile device or PS5 about PlayStation Store wishlist deals. There will be no notice on the PS4.

The PlayStation 5 is available worldwide. However, it might still prove difficult to get the console for a while. Earlier in 2021, Sony said it expected the PS5 chip component shortage to extend into 2022. In September 2021, Toshiba said it could carry on into 2023.
