PS4 Version Of Dynasty Warriors 8 With Xtreme Legends Supports Cross Save

Dynasty Warriors 8 with Xtreme Legends is coming to PlayStation 4 as a launch title for Japan. Before that, Tecmo Koei will release Dynasty Warriors 8 with Xtreme Legends for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

You can transfer your Dynasty Warriors 8 save data into DW8XL on either PlayStation 3 or Vita. For the Vita version, you need to upload your save data online to access it on Vita. The same feature works with the PS4 version. Upload PS3 or Vita Dynasty Warriors 8 with Xtreme Legends save data online and you can load it on PlayStation 4.

Downloadable content from Dynasty Warriors 8 is compatible with DW8XL. You can also use the same content on Vita if you use the same PSN account on that system. Some special store bonuses aren’t compatible with the Vita version and it’s unclear if the PS4 release will have shared DLC.
