PS Share Ranking 2021

PS Share Ranking in Japan Includes Genshin Impact, FFXIV

The official Japanese Twitter account for PlayStation released its “PS Share” Ranking for 2021. Titles on this list are PS4 or PS5 games that users shared the most on Twitter through the PS Share function, and Genshin Impact and FFXIV both made the list. This list uses data specifically from Japan. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Using the PS4 or PS5 Share function, players can easily upload screenshots or videos of their game onto Twitter. While the list uses Japanese players’ sharing habits, the majority of these games are internationally popular.

The PS Share 2021 for Japan list is:

  • Apex Legends
  • Genshin Impact
  • Final Fantasy XIV
  • Ghost of Tsushima
  • Fortnite
  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2
  • Dead by Daylight
  • Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki

On December 20, 2021, the PlayStation Blog revealed the results of the Game of the Year 2021. This one was based off of user votes rather than data. Though Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and Resident Evil Village didn’t top the PS Share Ranking 2021 list, it was an extremely popular choice for those who voted on the PlayStation Blog.

All of the games on the PS Share Ranking 2021 list are readily available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Siliconera will also release a GOTY list next week but in the meantime, here are some honorable mentions, as well as slightly more obscure games you may have missed from this year.
