With the COVID-19 pandemic keeping people at home, more people are using telecommuting meeting software like Zoom to connect with other people and participate in ā€œface-to-faceā€ meetings. In response to this, official Promare and Final Fantasy Zoom backgrounds have been released by both GKids and Square Enix. All of the options give people a chance to head to Promepolis or Midgar.

The Promare Zoom backgrounds all feature scenes from the Studio Trigger movie. In one of the images, you can even have Galo and Lio going head to head, literally, behind you.

All four of the Final Fantasy Zoom backgrounds are from Final Fantasy VII Remake. People can make it look like they are visiting Aerithā€™s church, 7th Heaven, Wall Market, or Midgar in general.

With Zoom, people can upload background images to replace the room or scene behind you when you are in a meeting or chatting with friends. You just go to Room Management, then Zoom Rooms, then choose a background image for Zoom under Account Settings. As long as the image is under 5mb and is at least 960px, you can use it as a background under Zoom Rooms in Room Management. A physical green screen isnā€™t necessary, though it is recommended.

Promare was supposed to return to theaters in North America in April 2020 for a ā€œCompleteā€ showing. Final Fantasy VII Remake will come to the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020.
