Project Sekai feat. Hatsune Miku, the rhythm game for smartphones that is being developed by Craft Egg subsidiary Colorful Palette, will be entering closed beta on May 8, 2020. The game features both Crypton’s Vocaloid characters, as well as five groups of human characters who stumble into an alternate dimension called Sekai, where the Vocaloids are real, and the place where songs are formed. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The closed beta test will be used to collect feedback and data from players to improve the game as it heads towards launch. It will be held from May 8, 2020 at 6pm JST to May 9 at 1am JST over roughly half a day. While it’s unsure how many songs will be playable during the beta, there will likely be currently revealed songs like ‘Roki’, ‘Rettou Joutou’, ‘Jishou Mushoku’, and more.
Gameplay-wise, Project Sekai (similar to BanG Dream!) is split into story sections, and gameplay parts. The gameplay will have various difficulties, and is set to be very tough in the latter difficulties, as can be seen from the following gameplay videos below:

The Multi Live co-op gameplay mode will also be making a return in Project Sekai from BanG Dream!:
