Project K, a new spinoff in Sega’s Yakuza series, has a new hero. Tatsuya is fresh out of juvenile hall after knocking the lights out of a student in his high school. After his release, Tatsuya gets expelled and continues a life of street fighting. He soon becomes known as the strongest street fighter in Kamurocho.
Even after his friends chicken out, Tatsuya is so tough he follows through with a plan to jump a loan shark. Using all of his strength he fights Naoki Toda… and wins.
Story scenes, like the one described above, are fully voiced and told with stylized visuals developed by Spooky Graphic.
Tatsuya loves fighting so expect lots of fist to face action in Project K. Players can explore Kamurocho during the day and night, shop, and eat. Famitsu screenshots of the town and Tatsuya stomping on someone’s face.
Project K is scheduled for release this fall on PSP.
