Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd’s PlayStation Vita version will come packed with its own special feature called AR Live. This mode gives Miku the freedom she’s always dreamed about, to get out into the real world and perform for her adoring fans on a sidestreet someplace. Sorta.

The feature makes use of markerless AR to enable Miku to dance and sing overlaid on your Vita camera. You’ll be able to dress Miku or her friends up and they’ll perform one of eight songs at release that were chosen from the Magical Miku 2013 concert.

The PlayStation 3 version will have a Live Studio mode which will let you watch those 8 songs as Miku and her friends sing their concert. It’s not quite the same as taking Miku along with you wherever you go, but this at least lets us know the 8 chosen songs aren’t exclusive to one or the other. Check out the screenshots below. Oh, and you’ll also be able to change their modules/clothes as well to suit your tastes.
