Another Princess Maker game is being released outside of Japan. CFK Team has announced Princess Maker Refine, an updated version of the very first entry in the series, for PCs. It will be released on Steam in February 2017 for $9.99. An exact release date is currently unavailable.
Like Princess Maker 2 Refine, Princess Maker Refine tasks players with raising a ten year old girl to the age of 18. Takami Akai returned to supervise the updating of the 16-color game to full color. In addition, voice acting has been added. It isn’t as robust as the sequel, in terms of available classes, festival contests, equipment, and endings, but still offers players 12 jobs to choose from for their adopted daughter and allows them to send her on RPG-esque adventures.
Princess Maker Refine is immediately available for Windows PCs in Japan.
